Pebbles and Bam Bam Super Scram
This meal is a super way for little ones to start their day. It’s packed with protein and good fats to keep them going.
Recipe contains: Egg
- 2 free-range, organic eggs
- 1 tablespoon Baby Building Broth
- 40 grams (1 ⅓ oz) organic, free-range ham, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons chia seeds
- pinch of dulse flakes
- 1 teaspoon cold-pressed, virgin coconut oil or other good-quality fat
- 1 tablespoon Dinosaur Sauce, plus extra to serve
Break the eggs into a bowl and whisk. Stir in the broth, ham, chia seeds and dulse flakes.
Heat the coconut oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pour the egg mixture into the pan. Stir it gently with a wooden spoon – lifting and pushing the egg mixture from the outside to the centre until the eggs are almost set (about 2 minutes).
Remove from the heat and gently fold the mixture a couple of times. Allow the eggs
to stand for about 1 minute, as the residual heat will finish the cooking.
Serve with dinosaur sauce.
As this recipe contains egg whites please wait until 12 months to include it in your child’s diet.
This is lovely served with some fermented vegetables. We love to pour 1 teaspoon of liquid from our cultured cucumber over the top, too. Delish!
